Cinema Vérité is Iran’s most prominent festival dedicated to documentaries, with an aim to express the relationship between reality and truth though documentary films. The event is held in national and international competition, and includes other categories such as Portrait, Islamic Revolution Documentaries, Retrospective of German Speaking Countries, Special Screenings, Out of Competition, as well as a film market, and workshops. ۳ Iranian titles awarded at Serbia’s MikroFAF

MikroFAF, according to the event’s website, is the annual international festival of short films devoted to promotion and development of the independent and DIY film production. This competitive festival spotlights a different theme every year, and this years’ festival was titled Caged Edition. ‘Watch Me!’ goes to US’ Oxford Filmfest.

Following his acceptance at the 3rd International Film Festival on Disability in France, ‘Watch Me!’ has now made it into the competition section of the 16th edition of Oxford International Film Festival in Ohio, the United States. Turkey’s Amity Short Filmfest. to screen 14 Iranian titles

The festival will be screening 89 short films from 76 countries, including 14 titles by Iranian filmmakers. According to Festival Director Faysal Soysal, the competition selection has 17 films, each one from a different country, including Iran, Turkey, France, Belgium, Palestine, Spain and Kazakhstan. Homayoun Shajarian performs for first time in Istanbul
